YouTube is the only offering that allows for sharing of online S3D video, that we
are aware of at this time.
Stereo 3D Video, WebM 1920×1080 Side by Side L/R with StereoMode information
Anaglyph (various options), Interleaved, Side-by-side, Cross, HTML 5 Stereo Mode
Free (standard YouTube account)
2D to 3D conversion.
The only sharing option at the moment for 3D video.
Good variety of Anaglyph format options.
It also the only one we found with HTML5 Stereo Mode.
YouTube’s large user base means that your videos have a larger potential audience.
Does not allow for photo content (perhaps Google has an S3D update to Picasa in the works?).
Sparse documentation for video uploading.
S3D video option is not prominent – most users would not know that it is available.
This may be a little bit like comparing apples to oranges, but the concepts are similar. This is a great service for people creating 3D videos, but it would be good to see Google or any of the other major media sharing companies get in on the act for S3D photos.
